My Experience

RioSlum is a design studio offering branding, design, messaging, and strategy services to domestic and international corporations. I served as the Graphic Design Intern from September 2017 to May 2018.

I contributed to almost every project created during 2017 and 2018, i.e. Eco Ola, Adelante, DreamingOutLoud, etc., covering clients from various countries including Mexico, Spain, and Brazil. Here’s the portfolio.

I also helped improve the company website, offering suggestions such as full-landing videos, interactive animations, and information structures that were all adopted that helped the company attracted 25% more customers in 2018. My mockups were also used on RioSlum’s websites in the ‘work’ sector as part of RioSlum’s portfolio.

My Best Story with RioSlum

My parents were planning a travel to South America; they would like to visit Peru, Chile, and Bolivia. They searched on Google and found a travel website rooted in South America called Keteka offering tours information they wanted. They shared the link of the web page with me and asked was the salt lake tour a good deal.

“OK, let me take a look…Wait a second, isn’t it the website I designed at Rioslum??????!!!!!!”

Nothing is more excited to a designer than realizing that her design is really used and seen by users across the world.
